Articulations;Joined at the Mendel Art Gallery “The third and final exhibition in the Articulation series, Joined, explores the joining of old and new ideas. Four Saskatoon artists—Linda Young, Cheryl Buckmaster, Todd Gronsdahl, and Dallas Poundmaker—will choose works from the Permanent Collection that reflect their interests or aesthetic. The process offers an opportunity to explore relationships between the Mendel’s collection and the influence of individual artists. Through this I got to work with curator Adrian A. Stimson, who has a pretty varied and at times cheeky art practice. Read Bart Gazzola’s review of the exhibition in Planet S Magazine, where he refers to me as “bizarre.”

Sculptures for the NextFest Art Festival in Edmonton. Curator Amber Rooke described them as, “...work with optimism and innocence in contrast to the seriousness of the institutionalized art experience.” They were created in conjunction with Matt Feyld, James Kirkpatrick and Graham Olver.

“Filling Public Spaces” An exhibition of Saskatoon’s heavy hitters, Ian Rawlings, Alison Norlen, Matt Feyld, and a mega list of others. My piece entitled “Loraas Disposal” was about the exhibition space which at first was to be in an alley way, buty ended up in a weedy parking lot. Also everything had to be 9”x5”. |
This is the second group show for the Bachelor’s Art Guild. Aptly titled “Bachelors’ Art Guild presents...” and is described as “Saskatoon’s newest old boys club presents their second exhibition of work. Includes a series of drawings by Todd Gronsdahl and Mathew Feyld, and an installation by Troy Gronsdahl” Royal Red Gallery

This is curator Donna Wozenek’s Art-O-Rettes art vending machine. It was shown at the venerable Mendel At Gallery. I’m stoked to have work in it. The machine and the gallery I suppose.
